Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect when you use Proreel AI, why, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. We collect only what the service needs to work.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and sign-in details, handled by our sign-in provider, Clerk.
• Your app’s details: the store or website link you add, and what we read from it (name, description, rating, icon and facts).
• What you upload and make: screen recordings, your logo, scripts, hooks, captions, voiceovers, private people and the videos you export. To make videos we send the relevant parts to our AI provider.
• Billing: a record of your credits and purchases. When payments open, card details go straight to our payment provider; we never see or store them.
• Usage and device information: pages visited and basic device details, through Vercel Web Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies, and checks that keep automated traffic out.
• Support messages: what you send us when you get in touch.

Exported videos carry a note in their file data that they were made with AI; it contains no personal information.

Why we use it

We use your data to run Proreel AI for you and make the videos you ask for (to perform our agreement with you); to bill correctly, keep records and prevent abuse (our legal obligations and legitimate interests); to fix, secure and improve the service (our legitimate interests); and to answer your questions.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your uploads or videos to train AI models, and Google, our AI provider, doesn’t use the data we send it to train its models.

Who helps us process it

• Clerk, for accounts and sign-in;
• Vercel, for hosting, analytics and bot protection;
• Neon, for our database;
• Cloudflare R2, for storing uploads and videos;
• Inngest, for running background work such as exports;
• Google Cloud (Vertex AI), for the AI that writes scripts, makes images, films takes, generates voices and times captions;
• Firecrawl, to read your website when it can’t be read directly;
• our payment provider, once payments open.

We’ll update this list before we add another provider.

Some of these providers are in the United States. Where your data leaves the European Economic Area or the UK, we rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (and its UK extension) or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Cookies and analytics

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. Our analytics don’t use cookies or follow you across other sites, so there’s nothing to accept or decline.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and workspace while your account is open. When you delete a video or campaign, it leaves your workspace; its files are kept until you close your account, so its exports stay downloadable. When you close your account, we delete your data and files within 30 days, except billing records we must keep by law. Logs we use to keep the service running are kept for a short time.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or to restrict or object to how we use it. If you think we’ve handled your data wrongly, you can complain to your local data protection authority. To make a request, email support@proreel.ai. We respond within 30 days.

Children

Proreel AI is for businesses, and everyone using it must be 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and images or video of children may not be uploaded.

Who we are

Proreel AI is run by Allyce AI Ltd, Dublin, Ireland, which is responsible for your personal data as its “controller”. When this policy changes in a way that matters, we’ll tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect. Questions: support@proreel.ai. See also our Terms of Service.
